Learning Management System (LMS)

The intranet for AUT’s Te Ara Poutama department is a type of learning management system that is used as an everyday tool for both lecturers and students.

The system is currently in use and being constantly developed further. Some of the features available now include:

• Assignment of students to courses and classes
• Internal messaging system
• Assignment and whole course grading ability
• Assignment submission by students and individual deadline extension ability by lecturers
• Audio recording for verbal language assignments
• Dashboard summary of courses, assignment and messages
• Lecturer control of course material, resources and assignments
